Basically, the demo is short for demonstration. But YOU get to demonstrate it. We fundamentally loan you whatever product you want for a few days. We'll ship it, or we'll deliver it. You get to decide what product you want, and when you buy that product, you know you're getting your money's worth. Easy and Simple
The starters of this business have roots in mountain biking, and oftentimes people demonstrate, or demo, a bike, to make sure they like it before they buy it. Sure, buying a $2,000 bike is slightly different than buying a lacrosse shaft, but the principle is the same. Nobody wants to buy something they don't need, making this program instrumental to he customer experience.
Since nothing is every perfect, there are catches. The first is that you won't be demonstrating a brand-new product. You would most likely be using a chipped, uglier version, but no less potent. No sub-par products. Second, there is a break-it-buy it policy. If you check a stick, and the demo product snaps, then you would regrettable have to buy it. Fortunately, there are many precautions you can take to reduce the risk of this happening, so it's not a huge risk.
